\nThe A4M/MMI Weight Symposium fo
cuses on the fundamentals of metabolism management and nutritional dietary
guidance for sustained weight loss. The course will review protocols and
practices designed to assist healthcare practitioners in practicing effect
ive weight management for patients. Participants will be instructed in ind
ividualized weight management strategies\, in addition to an overview of c
omprehensive weight loss skills and techniques&mdash\;including a discussi
on of weight management as related to lipid testing and diabetes diagnosis
. The final interactive session of the course will allow participants to c
ollaboratively discuss pragmatic and practical aspects of weight loss prog
rams\, and the ways in which to effectively integrate health-centered comp
onents into their respective practices.

\nDr. Tar
a Dall is a board certified lipidologist with roots in family medicine and
training at the University of Wisconsin Madison. She is a national though
t leader in biomarker and genetic testing having spent the last 15 years u
sing advanced biomarker testing in the clinical care of patients. She grad
uated in the inaugural class of Diplomates of the American Board of Clinic
al Lipidology in 2005. Her center achieved national recognition as the fir
st fully certified Level II lipid clinic in the United States. She served
on the Midwest Lipid Association executive board for 5 years with position
s of treasurer\, secretary and president elect in 2011-2012.

\nIn 2008\, Dr. Dall formed the Early Detection Center for heart disease a
nd diabetes near Madison\, Wisconsin and served as a clinical associate pr
ofessor for the Medical College of Wisconsin. Two years later\, she brough
t her fight against heart disease to the web co-founding Lecturepad.com\,
web platform that advance clinical understanding and application of advanc
ed lipid and biomarker testing.

\nFor 3 years Dr. Dall served
as Chief Medical Officer of a Health Diagnostic laboratory. As an author
and educator on biomarker research focused on the role that insulin resist
ance plays in diabetes prevention she has expanded the education of physic
ians to prevent chronic disease. She has a special interest in insulin res
istance'\;s role in cardiovascular disease\, womens heart disease\, Aut
oimmune disease\, polycystic ovarian syndrome\, and obesity. She is philos
ophically aligned with the functional medicine movement believing in impor
tance of identifying root causes of chronic disease and non-traditional ap
proaches to care. She also serves as chief of cardiometabolic education at
the non-profit Foundation for Health Improvement and Technology (FHIT) an
d on the scientific advisory board of the Lupus Foundation.

nKnown for her passionate delivery of complex medical topics in patient-fr
iendly terms\, Dr. Dall is a sought after speaker\, traveling the world to
present research on advanced biomarkers. She is also a regular go-to for
reporters\, appearing on Bloomberg News\, CBS Sports\, CNN Radio\, Reach M
D Satellite Radio\, and RadioHealth Journal. She was a regular guest on KT
XD-TV'\;s The Broadcast in Dallas\, as well as programs on wabcradio.co
m (Optimal wellness and Forever Young). She continues to practice medicine

\nBenjamin Gonzalez\, MD
\nBenjamin Gonzalez\, MD\, bet
ter known as &ldquo\;Dr. G&rdquo\;\, is Medical Director of Atlantis Medic
al Wellness Center. He has been on the leading edge of medicine since grad
uating from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is a Board C
ertified physician with a background in Molecular Genetics and Nutrition.
Dr. Gonzalez is renowned for his expertise in Clinical Nutrition with a fo
cus on Exercise Nutrition and Weight Management and is trained in the adva
nced techniques of Hormone Replacement Therapy\, Aesthetic and Age Managem
ent\, Integrative\, and Functional Medicine.

\nHe has multipl
e certifications in advanced laser surgery\, laser assisted and ultrasound
-assisted liposuction and is a Member of the American Society for Laser Me
dicine and Surgery. He has been practicing these techniques for over 10 ye

Gonzalez spent 15 years as an Emergency Medicine staff physician at Walter
Reed Army Medical Center and Associate Professor at Hershey Penn State Me
dical Center teaching his craft to other physicians. His love for helping
others led him to serve 24 years active military service\, including a yea
r-long tour in Iraq as Chief of the busiest trauma center during the begin
ning of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has earned multiple awards including T
he Bronze Star and Teacher of the Year at Penn State Hershey Medical Cente
r.

\nDr. Gonzalez continues to teach other physicians on the
subjects of Emergency and Trauma Care\, Functional Medicine\, Nutrition Ca
